Price Hike……Why??

It is with some regret that we have taken the difficult decision to increase the price of our wares from £26 to £35. It was not an easy decision to arrive at but we felt that it was necessary. Burtonwode has customer service at its very core so in the interests of transparency we want to explain this price hike. The primary reason is that due to an initial manufacturing error, the cost of production was superficially low. We have always and will continue to base our prices from the price it costs us to make the product, so if manufacturing costs go down, the price will drop accordingly. As the price has gone up, we in turn are forced to increase our prices.

Secondly, the margins we operate on are unusually small. That is because we are dedicated on providing the best service possible, and that starts with the bottom line. Whilst £35 is no small amount, considering that all our garments are printed, softened and constructed in England we feel that the price is very reasonable, and we hope you can feel that quality and consistency in the end product.

Once again, we apologise for the increase in cost, but in order to operate and continue to provide best possible product, we do hope you will continue to support us, as well as UK manufacturing at large.

Many thanks for your support so far

David Huglin and everybody else who helps make this happen!!
